Windows 11 S mode is a special version of Windows that only lets you install apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install apps from other places, you’ll need to switch out of S mode.
Here’s how you can do it:
- Click on the Start menu and select Settings.
- Click on System and then click on Activation.
- In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, click on Go to the Store.
- Follow the instructions to switch out of S mode.
That’s it! Once you’ve switched out of S mode, you’ll be able to install apps from anywhere you want. Just remember that switching out of S mode is a one-way process, so you won’t be able to switch back later.
